Why choose a medical aesthetics provider?
Medical aesthetics go far beyond therapeutic massages and fruit peels. They offer medical-grade cosmetic solutions for much more dramatic, long-lasting results. Medical aesthetics encompasses a wide range of non-surgical cosmetic procedures provided by qualified physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, certified estheticians, and laser technologists. All cosmetic and wellness treatments are carried out under the supervision of licensed physicians.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes. We are by appointment only. However, we will try our best to fit you in if our schedule permits.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You’re welcome to call our office at 217-335-4835 to schedule your appointment or request one online, and we’ll contact you to confirm your selection.
When should I arrive for my appointment?
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow for prep time. Because we offer medical aesthetic procedures, each new patient will need to fill out a brief medical history and a consent form.
What if I’m late for my appointment?
In fairness to others, we must conclude your treatment on time so the next person can begin on time. If you’re going to be more than five minutes late, please give us a call. We’ll do our best to accommodate you and complete as much of your treatment as possible, or we’ll reschedule your appointment for a time that works better for you.
What is the cancellation policy?
Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24-hour notice prior to your appointment time. For group appointments of 3 or more people, we require 72 hour’s notice. All late cancellations and no-shows will incur a $50 cancellation fee.
What happens during a new patient consultation visit?
We’ll review your medical history and evaluate your unique needs. Our highly trained and experienced providers will create a customized treatment plan including one or more transformative cosmetic or wellness solutions to deliver your desired results.
Will I look unnatural after treatment?

How often should I schedule my treatments?
Each person is unique. The frequency of treatments will depend on the type of procedure and your specific goals. During your new patient consultation, your provider will recommend a treatment course customized to your individual needs. Your progress and treatment interval will be reviewed at each subsequent session and adjusted if necessary to achieve your desired results.
Are children allowed in the med spa?
We request that no guests under age of 12 accompany you when you come in for your medical aesthetics treatments.
Do you offer gift cards?
We’re happy to offer gift cards for purchase in person or through our secure online portal. Consider giving a friend or loved one the gift of beauty today.

Is there a membership fee?
Membership is NOT necessary to receive treatments at Lively Medical Spa. We’re happy to offer memberships to provide our loyal clients with significant savings on their choice of services and additional discounts on add-on services and retail items. Check out our membership options here.
Do you offer financing options?
Yes. We offer financing through Cherry, which has low monthly payment options, no up-front costs, and no prepayment penalties. With Cherry, you can afford the beauty and wellness services you require!
Do you accept insurance?
Cosmetic and wellness procedures are an investment in your well-being. Most of the treatments we offer at Lively Medical Spa are not covered by insurance plans and we do not participate in any insurance plan. However, you may ask for an itemized receipt of your treatments and submit for reimbursement by insurance on your own.
What methods of payment do you accept?
For your convenience, we accept cash, all major debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover), Healthcare Savings Account (HAS) card, and cashier’s check. We do not accept personal checks. We partner with Cherry to offer our patient financing options.
Is gratuity included?
Lively Medical Spa is a professional medical establishment, as such, we do not expect gratuities. The best compliment or tip you can give us is to come back again and refer your family and friends. At your discretion, you’re welcome to leave gratuity for services provided by our non-medical staff (estheticians, massage therapists, etc.).
